Canceling was straightforward overall, but it did take a few minutes to get through. Not a big deal, just felt like it could’ve been a bit quicker in my opinion

The catalog feels limited. I was expecting a lot more based on how it was described, but once I actually started browsing, there just wasn’t much there. It kind of feels like they promised a bigger selection than what you actually get.

I get what Amazon is trying to do with the exclusive songs and podcasts, that’s what made me try it in the first place. There were a couple things I wanted to hear that weren’t anywhere else, so I downloaded the app one night while making pasta and figured I’d give it a shot. The sound quality is totally fine, no real complaints there, but the app itself feels kind of clunky. Searching around for stuff took longer than it should, and I kept getting annoyed having to switch over just for a few exclusives. It’s not awful or anything, but for me it felt more like a little trap than a perk. I don’t think I’d stick with it unless they made the app smoother.

Managing my Amazon Music account has been straightforward for the most part. I was able to change my plan and update my payment info without having to search too hard. The only thing is that some of the settings feel a little split between Amazon and Amazon Music, if that makes sense, so I ended up clicking around more than I expected. Still, everything worked fine and I haven’t had any billing surprises so far.

I thought the playlists were just going to be the usual stuff they push to keep you listening longer, but they’re actually good. I keep finding new songs I wouldn’t have searched for myself, and somehow they match my mood better than I expected. I use it almost every day now.

I mostly use Amazon Music when I’m traveling or somewhere with no signal, so offline downloads are a big deal for me. The problem is, songs will show as downloaded, but then when I actually try to play them without internet, the app suddenly acts like it needs a connection. Sometimes downloads just disappear too. It does work here and there, but not consistently enough for me to trust it on trips. it kind of feels like Amazon cares more about keeping you tied to their system and subscription than making the basic features reliable

It works okay overall, but the buffering happens way too often 😕 When it’s running smoothly, it’s fine, but the constant pauses can get frustrating.

Some popular songs have them, then others just have nothing at all, or the lyrics are out of sync and don’t match the song properly. It feels like this part of the app is handled kind of carelessly, like nobody is really checking it. Not the end of the world, but it’s annoying when I’m trying to sing along. For me, it’s a 3-star experience

The buttons are really easy to use, like changing tracks, pausing, skipping ahead, or just figuring things out without staring at it forever. It feels straightforward overall. I was hoping this would play on my Fire tablet, but it just won’t. I tried a few times and couldn’t get it going. Kind of disappointing, but I guess it is what it is.

I mostly use music.amazon.com for podcasts these days, it works really well for me. I’ve been able to find the true crime, news, and comedy shows I like without much hassle. I personally love having everything in one spot instead of jumping around and searching all over the place
